€sport masters-coverage
Drei Wochen ist es her als 15.000 begeisterte Besucher im Kölner Jugendpark vom gewaltigen Trick-Feuerwerk der BMX Pros beschossen wurden.
Für alle diejenigen unter euch, die noch nicht genug von der Suzuki BMXMasters bekommen können und sich das Spektakel mal in Ruhe vom Sofa aus ansehen möchten, sendet das Extremsport Format "YOZ" am Freitag dem 01.08.2008 einen Event Report über die diesjährige BMXMasters.
Auf Eurosport geht es ab 23:30 Uhr eine halbe Stunde lang in gewohnt heftiger Masters Manier zu Sache. Gezeigt wird ein umfassender Rückblick auf die absoluten Highlights des Events und die härtesten Szenen aus allen 5 Disziplinen.

Vert-Contest bei den Suzuki BMXMasters 2008 findet statt!
Trotz heftiger Diskussionen um die Durchführung von Vert-Competitions bei großen Contests, wie zum Beispiel auch bei den Summer X-Games 2008, wird bei den Suzuki BMXMasters 2008 vom 04. bis 06. Juli in Köln wie gewohnt in der Halfpipe gerockt.
Nach Rücksprache mit den Fahrern wurden wir in unserer Meinung bestärkt an dem einzigartigen Contest-Modell festzuhalten und weiterhin alle fünf BMX-Freestyle Disziplinen anzubieten. Vert ist nicht nur ein fester Bestandteil der Wettkampf-Philosophie bei den Suzuki BMXMasters, sondern mit seinem hochkarätigen Teilnehmerfeld auch jedes Jahr ein Garant für spektakuläre BMX-Action im Jugendpark.
Auch in diesem Jahr sind schon wieder viele internationale Pros gemeldet, die aus allen Teilen der Erde anreisen um sich mit der europäischen Vert-Elite zu messen. Ganz besonders freuen wir uns auf die Kollegen Evandro da Silva aus São Bernardo do Campo (Brasilien) und Oliver Cantillo aus Caracas (Venezuela).
Erfreulich ist auch, dass immer mehr Street-Fahrer Lust haben in der Pipe die Sau raus zu lassen und sogar für eingefleischte Vert-Cracks eine absolut ernst zu nehmende Konkurrenz darstellen. So wie zum Beispiel Daniel Dhers (23) aus Venezuela, der seine Teilnahme am Halfpipe-Contest schon fest zugesagt hat.
Also freut Euch jetzt schon mal auf den Showdown in der Halfpipe am Contest-Sonntag, den 6. Juli im Kölner Jugendpark!

New Alienation Tires:
Our first tires are ready to go into production. The dirt “Differential” tire will be available in a 1.95 & 2.20” width. We’re working on a 1.75” versions as well. The Street “Graffiti” version will be available in a 2.20” width. Both versions utilize Aramid “Kevlar” folding beads. In addition, they’re 120 TPI. The Graffiti with cap ply technology is rate for 110PSI.
Both treads were designed to be fast and smooth rollers with excellent grip. Good for Park, Street, Ramps and Dirt. A lot of micro knurls and siping.
No hot patches used. The logo & product names are molded into the sidewall for a stealth look.
The Graffiti weighs in at 550 g. Differential at 390 & 410 g.

Warehouse Session...
Saturday morning: a normal winterday in moers, it was cold and cloudy. We decide to ride our bicycle. Normaly that wouldn´t be a problem, except for it is raining, it is raining everywhere. So what do we do? We go to cologne. For whatever reason it is not raining in cologne. So thats good enough for me. 
Benny takes a phonecall and gives us the keys to the private wtp warehouse, man it is unbelievable . Imagine you have a hall with the dimentions of al livingroom with all the stuff you need to ride a good parksession and all the stuff missing a streetrider
loves to ride. So stink was some kind of pissed of a bit, but after a while he hooks up with the rest.
We ride a perfect session, all had a lot of fun and benny destroyed the hole constuction with crazy lines full of hugh airs and transfers full of speed. But in the end you have to realize that you can not forget where you come from and so the moerser underground had a big influence of the riding style ending up in fakie air contests with fullcap variations and 180 transfers. YEEEEEEEEEEAAAH Mike you are the man dude.
I would like to say thankyou to Mister Paulsen for giving us the chance to have such a nice day ("Hell in hell")and of course i have to give a big T H X to my bros for inspiring me an make me laugh.
